MY LITTLE
CHINA GIRL

MY LITTLE CHINA GIRL is a piece totalling nine hours. Ping lay in a box in a gold room with no windows. Video and audio played interrogating language, yellow peril and the representation of East Asian women online and in Western media. The themes were inspired by Ping’s own experiences and the women who contributed to early research.
